Rapper Nicki Minaj has apologized to fans outside of her hotel in Manchester early Sunday morning for postponing a UK show after she was briefly detained by Dutch authorities. Minaj was arrested in Amsterdam on Saturday for allegedly carrying drugs, despite the "Super Bass" songstress' repeated denials.

Minaj was arrested at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport on Saturday, causing her to postpone her show at Co-op Live in Manchester. Minaj, 41, was traveling to Manchester, England from Amsterdam for a concert on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour when she was arrested.

Nicki Minaj was held in Amsterdam jail for 5-6 hours after her arrest. On Saturday morning, Nicki Minaj took to Instagram Live to show her speaking with police in the airport.

In the video, Minaj can be seen arguing with police officers, who are questioning her about the alleged drugs. Minaj repeatedly denies having any drugs in her possession.

Minaj was eventually released from jail without charge. However, the arrest caused her to miss her flight to Manchester, forcing her to postpone her show.

In a statement released on Sunday morning, Minaj apologized to her fans for the inconvenience.

"I am so sorry to have disappointed my fans in Manchester," Minaj said. "I was really looking forward to performing for you all, but unfortunately, I was unable to make it due to circumstances beyond my control."

Minaj said she is working to reschedule the show and will announce the new date as soon as possible.

"In the meantime, I want to thank my fans for their understanding and support," Minaj said. "I love you all and I can't wait to see you soon."
