Pakistan's First Case
In August, Pakistan's health ministry confirmed the country's first case of Mpox in a 25-year-old male who had returned from a Gulf country.
Recent Surge in Cases
Pakistan has detected three cases of Mpox in the past week, including two in the northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and one in the southern Sindh province.
