WEB Intuit Dome: The Home of the Los Angeles Clippers
A state-of-the-art arena is coming to Inglewood, California.
The Intuit Dome is scheduled to open in 2024 and will be the new home of the Los Angeles Clippers.
The arena is being built on a 28-acre mixed-use development lot in Inglewood, according to Urbanize LA. The privately funded project will cost $1.8 billion and will feature a team practice facility, a variety of restaurants and retail stores, and a 25,000-square-foot community center. The Intuit Dome will be the first new arena built in Los Angeles County since Staples Center opened in 1999.
The Clippers have played their home games at Staples Center since they moved to Los Angeles in 1984. However, the team has long sought a new arena, and the Intuit Dome will provide them with a state-of-the-art facility that they can call their own. The arena is expected to be a major draw for fans and will help to revitalize the Inglewood area.
The Intuit Dome is scheduled to open in August of 2024, and the Clippers will play the 2024-25 season in their new home. The arena is expected to be a major success, and it will be a welcome addition to the Los Angeles sports scene.
